About PS 178 Parent Association (PA)
P.S. 178 has a very strong parent association and welcomes parents and families who want to be involved in their children's education.

The PA provides support and resources to the school through community-building events, workshops, special programs and fundraisers, such as our annual spring carnival, winter dance and many other events throughout the year.

Additionally, the PA sponsors parent workshops through the year, such as English language and fitness classes.

Parents are also heavily involved in the school's SLT (School Leadership Team) where they work closely with staff and administrators.

🏛️ The PA Board: Description
The Parent Association Board (PA Board) is composed of elected parent volunteers who work to foster communication between parents, school administration, and staff. The Board supports the school community through organizing events, coordinating fundraising efforts, and acting as a collective voice for the parents.
