About PS 178 Parent Association (PA)
P.S. 178 has a very strong parent association and welcomes parents and families who want to be involved in their children's education.

The PA provides support and resources to the school through community-building events, workshops, special programs and fundraisers, such as our annual spring carnival, winter dance and many other events throughout the year.

Additionally, the PA sponsors parent workshops through the year, such as English language and fitness classes.

Parents are also heavily involved in the school's SLT (School Leadership Team) where they work closely with staff and administrators.

GENERAL PARENT ASSOCIATION MEETINGS 2021-2022
Parent Association General Membership Meetings are scheduled for the third Monday of every month virtually, alternating monthly between evenings at 6:00 pm, and morning meetings at 10:00 am, unless such date falls on a legal or religious holiday, in which case the meeting will be held on the following or previous Monday, as determined by the executive board. These can vary due to members’ schedules.
For any updates, email a member of the Board to confirm the time and location.
